AMBASSADORS at the Second National Forum on Intellectual Property and Innovations “IP LET FORUM”

The Second National Forum on Intellectual Property and Innovations “IP LET FORUM”, organized by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the World International Property Organization (WIPO), the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations (IP Office), took place in Kyiv. The purpose of the event was exchanging of views and developing vectors of intellectual property development on the way to victory and innovative development of Ukraine.

Yaroslav Ognevyuk, managing partner of AMBASSADORS, was invited and had the honor to speak at the second session of the forum dedicated to the development of intellectual property and innovations in the military sector. Representatives from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, experts in the field of intellectual property, scientists, and representatives of startup platforms participated in the session.

In his presentation, Yaroslav focused on international public and private experience, - Ukrainian realities of intellectual property right protection, emphasizing potential and development opportunities. Yaroslav’s presentation also complemented the previous report by a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the assessment of the state of intellectual property rights protection.

During his speech, Yaroslav outlined proposals for improving the system of intellectual property rights protection in the military sector, interactions with the private Military Tech sector, and establishing a Business to Government (B to G) partnership system. Suggestions were also provided for effective management and commercialization of the IP rights portfolio.

The forum brought together exciting speakers and a large audience of professionals, allowing for expert discussions on various relevant topics.
