State Symbols in Trademarks: Legal Restrictions and International Practice
State symbols enjoy a special legal status. Their use in the logos and trademarks of Ukrainian companies is a sensitive issue, particularly when it concerns marks containing elements such as the word "Ukraine," the letter codes "UA" or "UKR", or stylized state emblems. In such cases, legal regulation of using national symbols in trademarks becomes paramount.

Ukrainian Bar Association Strengthens Personal Data Protection: AMBASSADORS Develops New GDPR-Aligned Policy
In response to the evolving challenges of the digital age and with the aim of raising information security standards, the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) has adopted an updated Policy on Personal Data Processing and Protection. The document was developed as part of a pro bono initiative by Yaroslav Ohnevyuk, Managing Partner at AMBASSADORS and a Member of the UBA Board, to enhance the institutional capacity of the legal professional community.
